Save the date for Bubbles, Books & Boo!

Community Shelter Services is teaming up once again with the Kiwanis Club of Erie for a free afternoon of Halloween fun on Saturday, October 10, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Kids and families are invited to enjoy bouncy houses, pick out a book and, of course, fill their bags with candy!

We are also looking for organizations to decorate their trunks and help us fill the parking lot with Halloween fun! Please contact Fontaine at [email protected] for more information.

Costumes are encouraged, and all the fun is completely free. We hope to see you there! 🎃

The Kiwanis Caring Kitchen is back to its normal meal hours today and moving forward!

Thank you to all our volunteers who made keeping it open yesterday possible and all our donors who continue to help feed our neighborhood!

URGENT NEED: We are asking for donations of bottled water and Gatorade to help people in our community who are still without power and cleaning up debris from fallen trees.

Donations can be dropped off at the donation garage on the 16th Street side of the Community Shelter Services building.

Any amount will help keep our neighbors, volunteers and cleanup crews stay safe and hydrated. Thank you for supporting our community during this difficult time!

Crews continue to work hard to clear 16th street while the Kiwanis Caring Kitchen remains open for anyone who needs it! Food will be served until 5pm tonight and reopens at 7:45 tomorrow morning!

Quite the storm damage on 16th and Poplar. The shelter remains without power and there’s no access to 16th street. The Kiwanis Caring Kitchen is going to remain open for the day to serve our neighbors and residents who are without power.
