If you didn’t get the chance to apply this round—or these opportunities weren’t the right fit for your organization—don’t sweat it! Our grant opportunities are always evolving, and there will be more opportunities to come.

Right now, applications for the Renaissance Block Grant Program and Parks, Fields & Trails Grant Program are open through September 30.

Ella’s talent truly stole the show, and we were thrilled to see her take home the $250 prize. While ECGRA was happy to support, this win was all Ella’s!

What a weekend!

CelebrateErie was an absolute blast, and we were proud to support this year’s festivities through our Special Events Grant Program.

Of course, we couldn’t miss the Chalk Walk! We were excited to take home 1st place this year, but the real win was seeing our community come together to enjoy everything our downtown has to offer.

From amazing performances, including the Plain White T's to local vendors, delicious food and drinks, and plenty of activities, there was something for everyone to enjoy.

We had a blast at the Italian Festival this past weekend!

As a recipient of an ECGRA 2026 Special Events Grant, the festival brought a weekend full of incredible food, music, and Italian culture to Erie. ECGRA Executive Director Perry Wood was happy to pitch in alongside the many volunteers who helped make the weekend a success.

We’re proud to play a part in making events like this possible — and this one was definitely one to remember! 🇮🇹❤️

ECGRA is proud to award $249,150.30 through our 2025 Parks, Fields & Trails Community Assets Grant Program, supporting 15 projects that will enhance recreational opportunities, improve public spaces, and strengthen quality of life across Erie County. Although this was awarded at the end of 2025, we’re starting to see the improvements today.

From trail development and playground enhancements to park improvements and athletic facility upgrades, these investments will benefit communities from North East to Girard to Wattsburg—creating spaces where residents and visitors can connect, play, and enjoy the outdoors for years to come.
