The proposed county ordinance would set regulations for data center development in 12 municipalities with no local land development rules.

The Erie County Recycling Program had a great time attending the Community Agri-Fun Day in North East last Saturday! Organized by the Erie County Farm Bureau, the Agri-Fun Day teaches the community about a variety of topics like agriculture, gardening, and environmental stewardship.

The Erie County Recycling Program showed families how everyday household items, like egg cartons, paper towel rolls, newspaper, and plastic bottles can be reused as seed starter kits. Reusing or repurposing leads to a sustainable community!

A special thank you to the Penn State Master Gardeners for generously donating seeds for the event!

The Erie County Department of Planning has had a productive month working on the Long Range Transportation Plan, Solid Waste Management Plan, Housing Rehab projects, Parks and Recreation as well as many other county-wide projects. They took some time today for a Halloween lunch.
