A powerful milestone in Bradford, PA đź’›

On Friday, June 12, Friendship Table served its one millionth meal, marking an incredible moment in a journey that began back in 1997.

For nearly three decades, Friendship Table has been serving hot meals Monday through Friday every week, offering consistent care and connection for neighbors in need. This milestone reflects thousands of hours of volunteer service, community support, and shared commitment.

Director Joe Doriguzzi shared that reaching this milestone would not have been possible without the partnership of the food system that supports their work, including the food provided by the Second Harvest Food Bank of Northwest Pennsylvania and the impact of food rescue efforts.

We’re grateful for the dedicated staff and volunteers who make this work possible every single day—and especially for the neighbors who walk through the door and share a meal together.

Congratulations to Friendship Table on this incredible achievement, and thank you for the lasting impact you continue to make in your community.
