Thanks for teaching us a thing or two about patience, kindness, and giving people a little more understanding than we might at first think they deserve. You reminded us that everyone has a story we may not know, and sometimes a little connection can go a long way.

Our third Beyond the Pages meeting gave us plenty to talk about, think about, and, of course, get crafty with some scrapbook collages! ✂️📚

September 25th is the National Day of Remembrance for Homicide Victims, a day to honor the lives of those lost to homicide and recognize the families, friends, and communities who continue to carry their memories.

Throughout the month of September, our Wall of Remembrance will be displayed in the Crime Victim Center lobby. Anyone who has lost a loved one to homicide is welcome to contribute a photo, memory, or message in their honor.

On September 25th at 5:30 PM, Crime Victim Center will host a Candlelight Vigil to remember and honor loved ones whose lives were taken. We invite our community to join us as we come together in reflection, remembrance, and support for those who continue to grieve. 🕯️💙

Whether through a photograph, a story, or simply lighting a candle, every act of remembrance helps keep their lives and legacies close.
