Meet Mrs. Lewis!

My name is Angela Lewis, and I am SO excited to be your Early Intervention Specialist here at Sunrise! I can’t wait to get to know each of our amazing students, discover what makes them shine, and help them grow! 🌟
I have been teaching for 26 years—yes, you read that right! I’ve worn many different teacher hats, including classroom teacher, Reading Specialist, Title I teacher, ESL teacher, and various other roles. Each experience has helped shape me into the educator I am today.
I believe kids learn best when they feel cared for, understood, and believed in. Building relationships with students and families is one of my favorite parts of teaching. I’m organized, friendly, calm, an out-of-the-box thinker, and a HUGE advocate for kids. Most importantly, I always put students first-and I LOVE to have fun! I’m also a lifelong learner and am always willing to try something new if it helps a child learn and grow.
A Few Fun Facts About Me! When I’m not at school, you can usually find me reading a good book or enjoying live music.
And now for the really important stuff...
I LOVE KARAOKE! I am always singing! So, if you hear singing coming from my room at Sunrise, come say hello!
I am looking forward to a wonderful year filled with learning, growing, laughing, and celebrating successes. Most of all, I can’t wait to get to know your children and help them discover just how amazing they are! Let’s make this a GREAT year!

We are still looking for the owner of a kids Verizon Gizmo watch that was left on the last day of school. If you think it's yours, please call the main office. We are open today until 4:00. Starting Thursday 6/25 we will be closed for the summer.

The office will be closed on Friday, June 19th. We will be open from 9:00-4:00 Monday, June 22nd through Wednesday, June 24th before closing for the summer.
