UPDATE: This has now increased to a RED FLAG WARNING! This means critical fire weather is imminent!

FIRE WEATHER WATCH FOR THE 4th! The weather service has issued this watch for 1PM to 9PM Saturday. Winds 10-20 mph with gusts over 30 mph and humidity as low as 12% will create critical fire weather. This means fires start easily and spread rapidly.

This aligns with the Independence celebration and we ask everyone to follow fireworks laws and use extreme caution.
