East Pennsboro Area School District School Board: East Pennsboro is a suburb of the state capital, Harrisburg, and serves a socio-economically diverse community of more than 20,000 citizens.

East Pennsboro Area School District is a growing, progressive school district with a total population of approximately 2,700 students in kindergarten through grade twelve. Located in Cumberland County, Pennsylvania and bordering on the Susquehanna River, the twelve-square-mile school district serves East Pennsboro Township and the communities of Enola, Summerdale, West Fairview, and parts of Camp

Hill. Although it was once considered a railroad town, the community is now thriving as a center for business and service industries. Corporations including EDS, IBM, Gannett-Fleming, Highmark/Blue Shield, and Metro Bank have regional offices within the township.Holy Spirit Health Care System operates a hospital in East Pennsboro and is joined by numerous doctor, dentist, and medical offices. Bordering the school district campus is a well-regarded post-secondary school – Central Pennsylvania College. Within a 40-mile radius of the school district, there are numerous post-secondary schools including Harrisburg Area Community College, Penn State Harrisburg, Messiah College, Dickinson School of Law, Shippensburg University,Lebanon Valley College, Elizabeth town College, and York College of Pennsylvania. Capital Area Intermediate Unit, which provides special education and support services for the region’s 24 school districts, is also located within East Pennsboro Township. The region offers easy access to a variety of private childcare, nursery, and pre-school facilities.

Do you have an incoming kindergarten student for the upcoming school year and need to register for school? Join us on Tuesday, May 19 to register and complete required testing. If you already registered your child and have an appointment for testing, we will see you at your scheduled time. If you have not completed or started the registration process, you are invited to join us at the school where you reside to get started with this process. Times are 8:00AM – 11:00AM at East Pennsboro Elementary School and 12:30PM – 3:30PM at West Creek Hills Elementary School if you do not already have an appointment. Prepare for May 19 by visiting our Registration Page so you know what documents to bring. We look forward to welcoming our new kindergarteners!

Exciting news from EP Athletics – our Boys Tennis team defeated Moravian Academy which moves them into the 2nd round of the PIAA AA Boys Tennis Tournament! This is the 1st time that our Boys Tennis team has ever qualified for the State Team Tennis Tournament! Great work Panthers!

If you’d like to come and see our team in action, they will be playing at the Hershey Raquet Club on Friday (5/15) at 7pm. Tickets can be purchased here: https://www.piaa.org/sports/tickets.aspx?sport=tennis
