🔑 A set of keys was recently turned in to the City Offices! They were found near the roundabout. They have a long blue keychain attached to them. If you think they might be yours, stop by or give us a call to describe them further.

If you’ve lost something else around town, don’t forget — we keep a Lost & Found here at the City Offices. You can call in or stop by during business hours to check if it’s been turned in!

Enoch City Mayor, Council, and staff add our continued support to the Carlile family and our friends who serve us in the Cedar City Fire Department. Captain Scott Carlile exemplified kindness and service to others every moment of his life. With selflessness, he worked diligently with his fellow public servants to protect property from danger here in Enoch City. Freezing temperatures and long hours never stopped him. Thank you, Captain.

It is with profound sadness that we share the off duty passing of Fire Captain Scott Carlile.

Scott was a valued member of the Cedar City Fire Department whose dedication, professionalism, and friendship touched many lives throughout our department and community. His loss leaves an immense void in the hearts of all who knew him.

We extend our deepest condolences to his family, loved ones, and colleagues as we grieve together. We ask for privacy and respect for the Carlile family during this difficult time.

Scott worked and supported his community and The Cedar City Fire Department for 25 years. The best way to honor him is to do exactly that - be there and support each other.

The fire service is family-no one walks alone. In the days ahead, we encourage anyone who may be struggling to reach out for help.
If you, or someone you know is in crisis, help is available. Call the Utah Firefighter Crisis Support Hotline 801-587-1800, utilize the SafeUT Frontline app, or text/call 988 to connect with the Su***de and Crisis Lifeline.

The Enoch Police Department stands with the Tremonton Garland Police Department as they endure the heartbreaking loss of two of their officers who gave their lives in service to their community. We offer our deepest sympathies to their families, loved ones, and fellow officers during this time of mourning.

We are also sending our best to the Box Elder County Sheriff’s deputy and K9 partner who were injured, and we wish them strength and a full recovery.

Their courage, selflessness, and ultimate sacrifice will always be remembered and honored.
