📢 City Holiday Closure – Juneteenth

All City offices will be closed Friday, June 19, 2026, in observance of Juneteenth.

There will be no trash service on this day. If your regular trash pick‑up falls on June 19th, you may place up to three extra bags curbside on your next scheduled collection day.

For water or sewer emergencies, please call 972‑875‑1234 and follow the prompts to reach an operator.

The community is invited to the 3rd Annual Juneteenth Parade and Festival, beginning at 10:00 AM at Roger & Maise Park. Enjoy a day of history, music, and celebration! This event is proudly presented by Unity In The Community of Ennis .

Open to players in 3rd – 9th grade, this camp focuses on strong fundamentals and building a genuine love for volleyball.

Our goal is for every athlete to leave with improved skills, renewed confidence, and the tools to keep growing both on and off the court. 💪✨

Our Keep Ennis Beautiful Super Hero is officially headed to the National Polka Festival! 🎶✨

He’s got one important message for all our visitors, neighbors, and polka‑lovin’ friends:

👉 Please help keep downtown beautiful by tossing your trash in the barrels placed all around the festival!

Our City of Ennis, Public Works & Parks will team gladly take care of the full barrels at the end of each day so the celebration can stay clean! 🗑️💥

💦 Splash Pad Season is Officially Open! ☀️

We are excited to welcome families and visitors back for another fun summer season at the splash pad. To help keep the area safe, clean, and enjoyable for everyone, please follow these housekeeping rules while visiting:

• No running
• No sand from the volleyball court in the splash pad area
• No gum or food in the splash pad area
• Please be respectful of others
• No bikes, skateboards, skates, or scooters in the splash pad area
PLEASE do not leave children unattended

Help us keep this community space clean and safe for all visitors to enjoy throughout the season.

Looking to host a party or gathering? Pavilion rentals near the splash pad are available. For more information and application details, please visit ennistx.gov.
