Want a clearer picture of your household water use?

City of Enid water customers can use Neptune My360 to monitor consumption by day, week, month, or year; review monthly usage history; and create alerts for higher-than-expected water use.

To get started, visit enid.org/my360 and have your water bill ready. Use the first six-digit portion of your account number—the location number—and enter your name and address exactly as they appear on your bill.

Monitoring your usage can help identify unusual patterns and potential water-use concerns early.

Understanding Enid’s Outdoor Warning Siren System

Enid’s outdoor warning sirens are an important tool for alerting people who are outside when threatening weather is imminent.

The City currently controls 42 sirens, with 29 upgraded sites providing computer-monitored, real-time system status. City teams monitor, inspect, maintain, and document repairs to help keep the system operational.

Outdoor warning sirens are not designed to be heard indoors. Residents should use multiple ways to receive weather alerts, including NOAA Weather Radio, local media, trusted weather apps, and Wireless Emergency Alerts.

Sirens are generally tested each Monday around noon, unless threatening weather could cause confusion. If you believe a siren is not operating properly, please report it through SeeClickFix or contact the City’s Emergency Management Office.

This annual observance honors the carriers whose work traces back to a young immigrant in New York City and highlights the important contributions of newspapers, their staff and carriers.

New lights are making the I-35 and Highway 412 interchange brighter, more visible, and safer for travelers headed to Enid.

Through a project coordinated with the Oklahoma Department of Transportation, the interchange will include 58 standard streetlights along the ramps and nine high-mast lights near the center of the interchange. City of Enid crews will maintain the new system once it is operational.

The estimated monthly energy cost to operate the lighting is expected to be between $500 and $1,000.

We are excited to welcome residents and visitors with a brighter gateway to our community.

Exciting improvements are underway at Don Haskins Court, home of the Thunder Courts at 5th and Main, across from St. Mary’s Hospital.

The Oklahoma City Thunder Cares Foundation has selected the courts for another refurbishment. Work includes filling cracks and surface blemishes, repainting the courts, and installing new goals.

The courts were initially painted and resurfaced in 2018 with the Oklahoma City Thunder logo, new goals, and backboards.

Mark your calendars for a community celebration and ribbon cutting on Friday, September 25, at 3 p.m. Everyone is welcome!

See a water leak? Please report it.

The City needs to know about water leaks in order to assess and repair them. If you notice a leak, please report it by calling the City offices or the police department. SeeClickFix is also a helpful tool for reporting small leaks.

Not every leak is the same. Many occur on the City side of the meter and are not billed to residents. If a leak is on the customer’s side, the customer is responsible for repairs; the City cannot make those repairs because City crews are not licensed plumbers.

After a leak is reported, crews assess its severity and prioritize repairs. Before digging, other utilities must mark their underground lines—an important safety step that can take several days.

Weather and shifting ground can contribute to water-line breaks. Reporting leaks promptly helps us respond and plan repairs.

This past month at our annual Service Awards, honorees represented approximately 945 years of combined service, including Captain Scott Miller and Tommy Rose of the Enid Police Department, who were recognized for 40 years of service each.
