It is with profound sadness that our department shares the passing of Paula Creech. Paula served the citizen’s of Clayton from 1998 before her retirement as a Battalion Chief in 2018. Thank you for your service BC Creech, and may your soul forever rest in peace.

Four members from our organization were granted the opportunity to attended an outstanding presentation based on leadership and development today. Your Clayton FireFighters continue to find ways to better serve our citizens.

Thank you to everyone who attended today’s Step Up and Lead seminar in Ohio. I was inspired by your passion and dedication to serving others.

Please avoid being on the roads while city crews continue to work hard to clear the roads!

Please avoid being on the roads while city crews continue to work hard to clear the roads!

Due to worsening winter weather and increasingly hazardous road conditions, Montgomery County has been placed under a Level 3 Snow Emergency following coordination and discussions with county officials and local jurisdictions.

This decision is made to reduce risk to both the public and first responders during extremely dangerous conditions. Under a Level 3 Snow Emergency, travel is prohibited unless absolutely necessary, and violations may result in a citation or arrest. Residents are strongly urged to remain off the roadways until conditions improve.

Please reserve 911 for emergencies only, specifically situations involving immediate danger to life or serious injury. Keeping emergency lines open ensures responders can assist those in critical need without delay. Road crews and public safety officials are continuously monitoring conditions across the county and will provide updates as soon as any changes to the snow emergency level are made.

We appreciate the community’s patience, cooperation, and understanding as safety remains the top priority during this severe winter weather event. Residents are encouraged to check back for updates by visiting our page, our website at www.mcohiosheriff.org, or by calling the Snow Emergency Line at 937-496-SNOW(7669) for the most current information.
