The Friends of Elsie Quirk enhances the operations and programs of the Library by encouraging community support and funding; providing quality programs and services for patrons of all ages and backgrounds; and encouraging lifetime learning as well as good citizenship experiences. Friends of Elsie Quirk purchase services, materials and needs which are not provided by the Library’s regular budget. T
he Friends of Elsie Quirk would like you, your family and your friends to visit the Library (in person and on the web), enjoy what it has to offer and find out what it means to be a Friends of Elsie Quirk. Friends work on projects to help make the Library a more vital community influence through extensive pro-grams for all: preschool, young and older children, adults and seniors. If you have time on your hands or are looking for something to do that will give you great satisfaction and a feeling of community involvement, be a Friend of Elsie Quirk and/or volunteer of the Library. Volunteers are needed to do the myriad of tasks that must be done. Whether it be weekly, monthly or for special projects, it does not need to involve a lot of your time.
