If you believe in scripture it tells us that the earth is the Lord's and everything therein. It also tells us that we are to be good stewards of God's bounty. As a parent, I would put my children on punishment for handling their things the way some of us have not only failed to care for the planet, but are actively seeking to destroy it.
I pray 🙏 for those recently impacted by the storms here and abroad. Scripture also says but faith without works is dead. I plan to vote, up & down ballot, for peace & truth seekers. Some try to beguile by holding up a cross or bible. Christ said, "depart from ME, I Never knew you!" Christ invited everyone to the table, but some look to divide and otherize certain people. I want officials who are their brothers keeper, not people who lack humility and believe every good thing came only from them. I am voting for candidates who care about the planet and the legacy that our generation will leave behind. I am voting for people who are not planning on overthrowing the government by armed forces. I am voting for candidates who are working to insure my civil rights, and my children's children too!
