Today, our hearts are with the team at Trans Aero MedEvac following the tragic loss of four crew members in a fixed-wing aircraft crash in New Mexico during a medical transport mission.

The air medical community is a small one, and losses like this are felt throughout our industry. On behalf of everyone at iCare Ambulance, we extend our deepest condolences to the families, friends, coworkers, and all those affected by this tragedy.

Big congratulations to our Operations Chief, Justin, on earning his Certified Medical Transport Executive (CMTE) certification! 👏

The CMTE is a nationally recognized credential awarded through the Association of Air Medical Services that demonstrates advanced knowledge in medical transport leadership, including operations, safety, finance, human resources, and regulatory compliance. It represents a high standard of excellence across both air and ground medical transport.

This achievement is especially meaningful in how it strengthens our alignment with our air medical partners. By holding the same level of industry-recognized leadership certification, we’re speaking the same language, operating from the same standards, and reinforcing our role as a trusted extension of the flight teams we support every day.

With this accomplishment, we’re proud to share that all of iCare Ambulance’s senior leaders now hold the CMTE certification. A milestone that reflects our commitment to excellence and partnership.

This isn’t your typical dispatch job—you’ll be coordinating air medical intercepts, critical care transports, and life-saving organ movements across the country.

💼 What you’ll do:
• Answer and coordinate incoming service requests
• Dispatch and track ambulance & organ transport units
• Monitor inbound aircraft and update crews in real time
• Review charts for accuracy before they reach billing
• Be the steady voice in high-pressure situations

💰 Pay: $22/hour
📍 Location: Centennial Airport
🕒 Schedule: 12-hour shifts on a rotating 3/4 schedule

• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to multitask and stay organized
• Dispatch, call center, or EMS experience is a plus

At iCare Ambulance, our Communications Specialists are the unseen link in the chain of survival. They coordinate complex transports, support our crews in the field, and serve as the critical connection between air and ground medicine.

Every call, every message, every decision matters and they handle it all with precision, professionalism, and calm under pressure.

Each month, these folks handle more than 1,500 phone calls and 6,500 radio transmissions!

💚 April is Donate Life Month 💚

At iCare Ambulance, this month holds a special place in what we do every day.

Behind every organ donation is a powerful story. A story of generosity, hope, and second chances. It’s a reminder that even in the most difficult moments, people choose to give life to others.

We are honored to play a small but critical role in that process. In 2025 alone, our team completed 1,844 organ-related transports, helping connect donors, recipients, and transplant teams across the region.

Each one of those transports represents:
• A life saved
• A family given more time
• A legacy carried forward

To the donors, the families, the transplant teams, and our incredible crews, thank you for being part of something bigger than all of us.

We’re proud to recognize our Medical Director, Dr. Jeff Beckman, for receiving the Colorado American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP) Meritorious Service Award.

This award honors individuals who have made significant contributions to emergency medicine and improved the healthcare system through exemplary service. Dr. Beckman’s 25+ year career has been defined by leadership, innovation, and a deep commitment to patient care across Colorado. 
From serving as the state’s EMS Medical Director to leading life-saving initiatives like prehospital blood transfusion programs, his impact has been felt by providers, agencies, and patients across the region.
