EASTER BASKETS: . On Monday, Cresskill Woman's Club President Eileen Farrell dropped off 25 beautiful Easter baskets. The Cresskill Women’s Club, once again, assembled these beautiful Easter Baskets, which will be given to clients with young children. The Easter baskets are always a big hit. Thank you to all the members of the Cresskill Women’s Club for continually supporting the work and helping us help others our community.

BABY FORMULA DONATION: Once again, Adele Macros and the Tenafly Elks Lodge 2271 provided the Office of Concern Food Pantry with a large donation (117 bags) of baby formula. Adele applied for, and received a generous grant from the BPOE Supreme Council that she used to purchase this much needed and expensive item for families with infant children. The need is great and it is wonderful to have so many people helping us help others.

SOUP DONATION: This past Wednesday, student council members and their advisor, Toni Essman of the Academy of Our Lady of Mount Carmel donated soup they had collected for the Office of Concern Food Pantry. DONATION: This past Wednesday, Christine Peralta and Eco Team delegates from the French Academy dropped off donations of food they had collected. Christine and the Eco Team then then were given a tour of the Office of Concern Food Pantry by Director, Donald Wuertz. The delegates learned how food items are purchased, how donations are sorted, and how perishable and nonperishable food items are distributed to families in need. Many thanks to the French Academy and its students for helping us help others.

RICE DONATION: Last week, Temple Emanu-El of Closter’s youth group packaged 200, 2 pound bags of rice that they donated to the Office of Concern Food Pantry. This was a joint effort between Temple Emanu-El and the Kaplen JCC on the Palisades. Many thanks to both organizations and all who made this donation possible. ENGLEWOOD HEALTH HOLIDAY DONATION: On Tuesday, we received a very generous financial donation along with gift cards from the Senior Leadership Team of Englewood Health. They expressed gratitude for the ongoing relationship we have assisting people in our community and thanked us for helping needy families, especially during this time of the year. They also wished us and the families we serve success, good health, joy, and happiness throughout the year.

DIAPER DONATION: Seen here are Donald Wuertz, Director of the Office of Concern Food Pantry, and Tori Sayanlar, a parent whose child attends Jack in the Box school. Tori worked with the school administrators and organized a diaper drive at the school. The donated diapers filled the back of her car. Diapers are expensive and needed by our clients with young children. Thank you Tori for doing this and helping us help others in our community.
