Effective August 10, 2026, the National Stock Number (NSN) field was removed from the FAS Catalog Platform Product File. 🧾⚙️

For contractors with older catalog data, this means it may be time for a cleanup.

What changed?

🔹 The NSN field is being removed from FCP Product Files
🔹 The field may still appear in legacy SIP templates, but contractors should no longer use it
🔹 If an outdated Product File containing the NSN field is submitted through FCP, the field will simply be ignored
