November is National Diabetes Month, a time to raise awareness around how to prevent and treat diabetes. Earlier this week Shama and Gordon had a chance to join in a press conference and high school assembly to do just that.

State lawmakers, the Diabetes Foundation and health officials are teaming up to share valuable lifestyle lessons.
