Town of Enfield at Home Test Kit and Mask Distribution -
The Town of Enfield received the at home COVID test kits this morning, and will be distributing them on Tuesday, January 4th at The Annex, 124 North Maple Street beginning at 4:00 pm until supplies are exhausted. Proof of residency will be required
The Town will hand out approximately over 5,000 tests and masks, 2 test kits and 4 masks per household, during this drive thru event.
“While disappointed that the opportunity to distribute during the holidays didn’t occur, we are quite happy that additional test kits were allocated to Enfield than what we had been promised last week, so that we can get more out into the community,” said Mayor Bob Cressotti. “That being said, the Town Council members and I know that it’s not enough for everyone. We are going to continue to work with state officials and health officials to deploy additional resources for testing, vaccinations and boosters to get us through this difficult post-holiday surge of positive tests.”

Please be mindful of traffic patterns upon arriving. The only entrance will be from North Maple Street.

12/30/2021

The Town of Enfield has received notice that there is a delay in the shipment of COVID 19 home test kits. There will be NO distribution today. Please check back for future notification. We apologize in advance for any inconvenience.

Town of Enfield at Home Test Kit Distribution
In response to Governor Ned Lamont’s announcement to distribute COVID-19 at-home rapid tests, the Town of Enfield will hand out 5000 tests, 2 per household, during a drive thru event on Thursday, December 30, 2021 at the Enfield High School, 1264 Enfield Street, beginning at 3:00 pm until supplies are exhausted. Proof of residency will be required.
“This is happening at a perfect time to help curb the spread of COVID-19 during this heavy travel and holiday season,” said Mayor Bob Cressotti. “We hope that Enfield residents will take the opportunity to test before and after attending indoor events or upon return from visiting friends and relatives so they will be equipped to make decisions to isolate and slow the spread within our community.”
