Enfield Police Department K-9 Unit

Enfield Police Department K-9 Unit The Enfield Police Department K9 Unit has four K9 teams. The fourth team is a single purpose narcotics detection lab.

Three GSD patrol dogs, two are cross trained in narcotics detection and a third is cross trained in fi****ms detection.

Last night at approximately 9pm the K9 Unit answered a mutual aid request from the Town of Bloomfield. K9 Dunkin was utilized for a track of an elderly missing female with dementia, who was last seen leaving their residence at 8pm. K9 Dunkin successfully located the missing female in thick brush stuck in mud less than a 1/4 mile from her residence!! 🐕🚔👍
