This week's photo was taken at the Rotary Garden at the Enfield Senior Center. Plans are underway to upgrade and renovate the 20 year old garden that was started by the Enfield CT Rotary Club. Pictured are Town Manager Ellen Zoppo-Sassu, Senior Center Supervisor Mary Keller, Julie Cotnoir, President of the Rotary Club, representatives from Allied, who may be able to deploy expertise and Allied clients to assist; and Kathleen Souvigney, executive director of the Enfield Food Shelf, Inc., which receives and distributes the garden's bountiful harvest to its clients. This program will also be eligible for senior volunteers looking to get hours for their Senior Volunteer Tax Credit. Special thanks to Pat Bleakney for the years of oversight provided!
