The 7th annual Chalk the Walk, Have the Talk campaign for su***de awareness & prevention will be filling Broome County with color and messages of hope from September 10 - September 20!

BC SAFE

ONE MONTH TO GO!

The countdown is on! In just one month, Broome County will come together for BC SAFE's 7th Annual Chalk the Walk, Have the Talk Campaign in honor of World Su***de Prevention Month.

From September 10–20, join us in spreading messages of hope, kindness, and connection throughout our community using sidewalk chalk. Every encouraging word and colorful drawing helps normalize conversations about mental health, reduce stigma, and remind others that they matter.

✨ This year's theme: The World Is Brighter With You In It.

We're putting the finishing touches on this year's campaign! Campaign details, chalk pickup locations, participation information, and art contest details are not on our website just yet—but they will be available soon. Be sure to keep checking back over the coming weeks for updates!

Whether you're participating as an individual, family, school, workplace, or community organization, we'd love to have you join us in making Broome County a little brighter.
