Thank you to the residents that reached out. Much appreciated. Identification has been made.

It is unfortunate that in attempt to hold individuals accountable the discussion falls into how this police department, and Marquette County Sheriff's Office are "corrupt".

Everyone has a right to their opinion.

Village Residents: Last night, at around 9:30pm, we became aware of a group of individuals forcing entry into the old academy building on top of the hill. The building as many know, is boarded up and "No Trespassing" signs are posted. With the assistance of village trustees and deputies of the Marquette County Sheriff's Office, the individuals were apprehended and identified. We want to thank those that responded. The group are not from the community. This message is being posted for residents who may have seen and heard the police presence at the building, and to make the community aware. It is unknown if this group came into the village with the only intention being the academy building or if they had targeted other properties. Please contact the Endeavor Police Department if you have information or wish to file a report. The investigation is still ongoing.

Village Residents - Please check your Ring cameras for the night of March 28th between 10pm and 12am. Looking to see if anyone captured video of individuals walking through the village. We received reports of nuisance activity; trespassing, small acts of vandalism, looking in windows, etc. They were seen walking north on Church Street, past the Elementary School, and then into the surrounding neighborhood.
If you can identify these two or you have video that would assist in determining who they are, please notify us by leaving a message at (608) 587-2486 or submit information to [email protected]. All information will remain confidential. Further, if you found your property may have been impacted in some way, please also reach out to this number or email address.

Community Notification: This post is being made for community awareness in the interest of keeping everyone safe. In October 2024, the police department and community were made aware of an incident that resulted in a Fed Ex delivery driver being severely injured by three dogs at a property here in the village. The employee was mauled when attempting to deliver packages to the residence. The Village of Endeavor Board, in partnership with the police department, designated the animals to be a threat to the safety of the community and under village ordinance ordered the owner to remove the animals from the community. This decision was made out of an abundance of caution. Our concern was for anyone who may inadvertently enter the property if the dogs are outside (a child retrieving a ball for instance). The owner complied with this order and for a period of time the animals were kept out of the community. The dogs reappeared on one occasion and in my discussion with the owner, I explained that if he could not abide by the order, the village would need to take possession of the dogs. He told me he understood and agreed to once again comply.
However, earlier today I learned the dogs are again back at the residence. The address is 406 N. Academy Blvd. I will be contacting our village attorney next week, and seeking remedies in circuit court for noncompliance. This is not a post against dogs or the owner. This post was made because my priority has to be the protection of the community. I cannot take someone's "word" that the animals are not dangerous, and it won't happen again.

LIONS PARK BATHROOMS - Until further notice, the bathrooms will remain closed and locked to the public. Just yesterday, village officials found both bathrooms were vandalized with toilet paper strewn about, toilets clogged with paper, dispensers damaged and a metal bar broken off.

If you have any information on who may have been involved, please send an email to [email protected] or leave a message on the village voicemail at (608) 587-2486 after hours. You can remain anonymous, and all information will kept confidential.
