We had a fun day at the Special Olympics in Cameron County today!

Today at playgroup, we celebrated Mom's with a Mother's day craft and a Mother's day story read by a special guest, Kendyl, our library's story reader. The kids enjoyed free play, building, cooking and creating, while the Mom's had the opportunity to enjoy each other's company. We even had a special visit from Miss Kim (not pictured), our local IU9 preschool teacher who stopped by to say hi to friends and meet some new friends! Playgroup meets every Tues (unless otherwise noted) from 10-1130 at Woodland Elementary for families with children prenatal thru kindergarten entry. We would like to thank everyone who came to our group and were “Partying like a BLOCK star” with us! Families had the opportunity to show their creative side while enjoying some family bonding time together! A pizza dinner was provided which allowed all participants to enjoy the group even more. We loved seeing all of your creative little minds at work!
