Course Closure Notice: Kansas Junior Optimist Tournament
June 5, 2026
The Emporia Golf Course will be closed to the public for the Kansas Junior Optimist Tournament, a closed tournament for junior golfers.
A $25 spectator cart fee will be available for those wishing to follow play on the course.
The course will reopen to the public following the conclusion of tournament play. Thank you for your understanding.

Course Closure Notice: Emporia State Bank

The Emporia Golf Course will be closed to the public for a private tournament hosted by Emporia State Bank.
This closed event is a 4-person scramble featuring 18 holes with a 9:00 AM shotgun start. The course will reopen to the public following the conclusion of tournament play.

The Emporia Golf Course will be closed to the public on May 18 for Sub-State Golf, a high school tournament.
Event Details:
• Tee times begin at 9:00 AM
Public play will be allowed around the event where possible, and full public play is expected to resume following the completion of tee times at approximately 12:00 PM, as course conditions allow.
