Sorry that we haven't updated the family. John and Evelyn are doing well. John has just traded in his 5th Wheel for a regular camper. Evelyn's Mother in the Philippines passed away, so she has been spending time there with family. The nephews and their kids were all up here Memorial weekend and will, also, will return on Anchor Day weekend. I am still living here at the farm.Don and Maria are still living in Texas. Maria just received her Citizenship.

It's hard to believe that it is December. I am so not ready for snow. I am still living on the Farm and have been decorating the house for Christmas. John and Evelyn are doing well and will be spending Christmas in Maryland. Evelyn's son-in-law and 3 of her grandchildren will be visiting relatives there. Don and Maria are still in Texas. They are both doing well and busy working. Maria is still waiting to get her citizenship. We all wish you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Here is a photo of the youngest of the Welch family.

Deer camp is under way. 5 hunters this year one is a resident of Texas, Brother Don. It Has been a bad time so far..lots of rain and gray skies and some snow. The deer are not moving. 2 of our hunters from the Lansing area have left. We will have 2 more coming on Thanksgiving.

It's hard to believe that it is November already. Don is coming home on the 12th for hunting and Thanksgiving. It looks like Maria won't be coming. She had her last interview for her citizenship and she is waiting for her swearing in ceremony. Her niece has been living with them studying for her nursing boards. We hope that everyone has a great Thanksgiving!

Summer is finally upon us and the tourists are here. We have had a few thunder storms and everything has really greened up. Don and Maria are still living in Texas and John and Evelyn are still in Whitehall, which leaves me to hold down the fort here at the Farm. I hope that all of you have a great summer!

Every thing is pretty quiet on the farm. As a lot of you know Don and Maria moved to Texas for jobs. I am still living here on the farm. I am doing really well, except for a fall on the ice a few weeks ago. I am fully recovered, no fractures, just a lot of bruises. John got married in August to Evelyn, who is from the Philippines. Hope all is well with everyone.

It's time to let you all know how our winter has been so far. The weather has been up and down as you know. Don and Maria are doing great in Texas. Maria is going for her citizenship and they are both working at Goodfellow Air Force Base. John and Evelyn are doing good in Whitehall. Evelyn had some bad news from the Philippines, her daughter passed away and she was unable to attend the funeral. I am still here on the farm, but I did have a fall on the ice a couple of weeks ago. There were no fractures, but I had a really bad groin strain. I am doing much better now. We hope that you are all having a pretty safe winter. Just think that every day is a day closer to spring.
