Healthy strong hives will swarm - and often times that swarm will find a second place in your house to call home.

Honey-bee need to be relocated and the comb needs to be removed or else they will return!

From Chimney to Hive!

The Bettered Bee Rehab and County Pest teamed up to safely remove and relocate a thriving honey bee colony. This rescue featured a first-season queen and a hardworking crew of bees doing their part during the transition. We carefully extracted brood comb from the chimney and gave this buzzing family a fresh start in one of our rehab hives.

First hive checks went great! All have taken to their new hives. Some much busier than others but everyone was gathering pollen and tending to a good brood with actively laying queens!

Minus the mild spiciness of one hive they were all friendly too!
