City of Emery Emery - Come make a memory! Location, location, location! The Spot to Be is Emery, located only four miles south of Interstate 90 on South Dakota Highway 262.

Emery is just a 45 minute drive from Sioux Falls, SD and a 20 minute drive from Mitchell, SD. Emery is surrounded by beautiful South Dakota agricultural and hunting land. Emery has a park facility which includes a swimming pool, baseball field, softball field, tennis court, basketball court & sand volleyball court.

City Wide Clean-up is available to Emery city limit residents only. Refrigerators must be drained of freon.

See list below for all items that you can take to the rubble site. You do not have to wait until citywide cleanup to get rid of white goods. You can take them to the rubble site anytime the site is opened.
