April is Child Abuse Prevention Month.

This month, we’re coming together as a community to raise awareness, support families, and help prevent child abuse before it starts. You’ll see blue pinwheels across the county, representing the happy, healthy childhoods all children deserve.

💙 How you can help:
• Wear blue on April 8 for Ohio Wears Blue Day
• Display a pinwheel at your home or place of work to show your support
• Encourage and support families in your community
• Speak up if you’re concerned about a child

Together, we can make a difference. Together, we can keep Lorain County’s children safe.

Love builds strong families ❤

This Valentine’s Day, we’re celebrating the power of safe, nurturing relationships. Foster parents play a vital role in helping children feel valued, protected, and supported. When you open your heart and home, you help build the protective factors every child needs to thrive.

There are children in our community waiting for someone to say, “You belong here.” Could that someone be you?
