Fall Fest 5k & 1 Mile Fun Run is happening this Sunday, September 20th starting at 9:00am 🍂 You still have time to get registered to participate in either race. Sign up online at the link below, or register in person on Sunday!

On Thursday city officials led a tour of the downtown area with Congresswoman Ashley Hinson who helped secure $2 million in Community Project Funding for Ely. This grant is the most the city has ever received and will largely fund Phase 2 of the Downtown Infrastructure Project that includes Rowley Street and a portion of Main Street (Traer to Fuhrmeister) providing critical stormwater, sewer, and road improvements and help to revitalize downtown. The grant also enables a large capital project to be completed without additional financial impacts on residents. The Phase 2 project is expected to start in 2027.
