Earlier this month, our 3rd and 4th grade students at Honey Brook Elementary Center took part in the Fighting Hunger and Poverty Campaign in partnership with Giving Tree Families.

Through this meaningful service-learning opportunity, students saw firsthand how small acts of kindness can make a big impact in our community.

Our 4th graders assembled care packages for people experiencing homelessness, while our 3rd graders created snack bags to be included with Meals on Wheels deliveries. Beyond preparing these items, students learned important lessons about empathy, generosity, and the responsibility we all share in caring for others.

Thank you to Giving Tree Families for providing this opportunity to support neighbors in need!
