Summer school information

We are excited for summer school to start on Tuesday! Please drop your student off at their normal school day entrance and we will get them to the correct classrooms. Breakfast and lunch are provided at no charge but students are also welcome to bring breakfast and lunch from home.

Incoming Kindergarteners: No school supplies needed! All you need for summer school is a blanket for rest time and a backpack. If you are bringing your child to school, please enter at the entrance near the playground marked "Elementary" and we will match up students up with teachers in the elementary gym.

Join us for our LAST group connection of the school year — Kindergarten Readiness Night! ❤️🖤

⏰ 6:00 PM
📍 Clarence Cannon Elementary Gymnasium
We will start the evening in the elementary gym, then break into groups and tour the school! Families will get to visit:
✨ Kindergarten classrooms
✨ CAMP classrooms
✨ The cafeteria for a snack
✨ Take a fun bus ride around town
If you have a child entering kindergarten in Fall 2026, we would love for you to join us! We can’t wait to welcome all our incoming little Clarence Cannon Elementary Indians and help them get excited for this big milestone! ❤️🖤

HE HAS BEEN FOUND AND DROP BACK OFF, THANK YOU! Parents, could you please check and see if your child accidentally took home Rumi’s little stuffed animal from last night’s event?
It is a little blue dog and was being used as a photo prop for the K-pop characters. It was not intended to be taken home as a gift.
If your child happened to bring it home, please let me know so we can get it returned to the character.

What an amazing night! 💙💛
A HUGE thank you to all the families who came out tonight for our Party on the Playground! We truly appreciate each and every one of you. YOU are the reason our program is so special and amazing. Seeing families laughing, dancing, and making memories together is exactly what this program is all about.
🎶 Hats off to DJ Drew for setting up for us, and donating your time tonight. We can’t thank you enough for bringing the fun and keeping everyone dancing!
🎨 Thank you to Mabry Johnson for your incredible face painting talents. The kids absolutely LOVED it!
🎈 Thank you to Premier Entertainment for all the amazing balloon art. The creativity was unbelievable, and those balloons were such a huge hit tonight!
🌭 A big thank you to our Advisory Board members, Arla Kaimann and Jesse Marshall, for helping throughout the evening.
❤️ And a very special thank you to my husband Terry for cooking hot dogs, helping wherever needed, and staying to help clean everything up at the end of the night.
🧋 Thank you to Fuel Mama Energy for coming out and serving your teas tonight!
✨ And of course, Enchanted Events — RUMI and Spiderman were a HUGE hit with the kids!

Tonight’s the night for the Elsberry Parents As Teachers Party on the Playground! 🎉🌟
We have an AMAZING lineup planned, and tonight is all about celebrating YOU — our amazing families! ❤️
🎶 DJ Drew will be turning the Astroturf into a full-on dance party tonight! Parents — it’s time to lace up those dancing shoes, grab your kiddos, and come cut a rug with us! 💃🕺 These are the memories your kids will never forget ❤️
🎈 Premier Entertainment will be here creating awesome balloon art
🎨 Mabry Johnson will be doing amazing face painting
🌭 Our amazing Advisory Board will be grilling up hot dogs and serving up snow cones to help keep everyone fed tonight! 🍧
🧋 Fuel Mama Energy will also be serving up some teas to keep you fueled up all evening long — so make sure to stop by and support her! 💕
And midway through the evening… we’ve got a couple surprises 👀✨ You are NOT gonna wanna miss it! Its going to be GOLDEN!
So bring a blanket or lawn chairs, relax on the Astroturf, dance with your kiddos, and come celebrate with us tonight. Elsberry Parents As Teachers is special because of YOU and your families. Thank you for making this program so amazing.

🎉 Elsberry MO Parents As Teachers "PARTY ON THE PLAYGROUND" is tomorrow night and it’s going to be bigger and better than ever!

Get ready because we are bringing the FUN!
🎧 DJ Drew will be rocking the hits so the kids can dance, the parents can dance, and the playground will be bumpin’ all night!
🎈 Premier Entertainment will be back twisting up awesome balloon animals and characters!
🎨 Mabry Johnson will be there doing face painting so the kids can get all decked out!
🌭 Dinner is on us!
Come hungry because we’ll have:
Hot dogs • Chips • Cookies • Drinks • Snow Cones
🪑 Bring your lawn chairs, kick back, relax, but not to relaxed you have to be ready to dance too!
