Elsa Public Library Here at the Elsa Public Library, we help provide children and the community with a vast source of information that fits their needs.

The Elsa Public Library is a valuable community resource of materials, information services, and programs. As a public institution, its doors are open to all regardless of origin, age, background, and views. The Elsa Public Library has an important mission for young children and their parents to encourage the love and importance of reading and learning. Services Provided:

The Elsa Public Library

provides children and their families with lending services of books. All books can be used by the public. If a book is not available the library will borrow it from another library in the US. The Library provides full access to information by means of magazines, newspapers, reference books, audiobooks, and computers including the internet free of charge. During the summer the library has its annual Summer Reading Program that invites all the children and their parents from the surrounding area to come and join in the learning and educational activities provided by the library for free.

Want to learn to plan and cook nutritious meals for your family? The Elsa Public Library is proud to announce that, in conjunction with Texas A&M Agrilife Extension, we will be hosting a free eight week course!

For questions or to register, please call 956-262-3061 and ask for Abi. This class has limited capacity so call soon!

The course will be held Thursdays at 2pm, starting June 11th, and will proceed for eight weeks ending on July 30th. Participants will commit to attending a minimum of 6 out of the 8 courses in order to earn their certificate.
