This afternoon, with 2 crews from B.Y.E. Ambulance Service responded to support several area fire departments operating at a residential structure fire incident.

Our personnel provided rehabilitation and medical standby services for firefighters working on scene during suppression operations. In addition, B.Y.E. crews assisted with the care of a family pet that was safely rescued from the home by fire personnel.

We are proud to support our neighboring fire departments and stand alongside the families impacted by today’s incident. Incidents such as these highlight the importance of strong partnerships between rural fire and EMS agencies working together to protect our communities.

Thank you to all responding agencies for their professionalism, teamwork, and dedication to public safety.

🚒🚑Tomorrow from 1230-1400 BYE Ambulance will be participating in Operation Prom Night at Elmwood High School. This event is a collaborative effort between Elmwood High School, OSF, the Elmwood Fire Department, the Elmwood Police Department, Brimfield Fire Protection District, the Peoria County Coroner, and other local agencies. Its purpose is to educate students about the dangers of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
