September is Library Card Sign-up Month, and the easiest way to celebrate is to get someone you know signed up. 💳💙 A parent, a roommate, a neighbor who keeps saying they'll get around to it. 😉

Starting September 24th, and running monthly until January, is a new club series for girls in grades 3-5 called Girls Who Code! Part book club, part off line coding class, there is no technology needed to join. Girls will read The Friendship Code and have book discussions centered around a girl learning to code at school and the challenges she faces both with coding and friendships. Book discussions will be paired with an offline coding activity geared towards learning the basics of coding. Join the club, meet new friends, and learn to code!

For special registration, please email your interest to [email protected] including the name and age of your child. A link will be sent to you to complete registration.

Looking to practice reading out loud? Sign up to read a book to a therapy animal every first Saturday of the month.

Ability to read, and not just be read to, required.
Adults learning to read are welcome.
