What happens after a small business gains access to capital?

On September 10, Community Capital New York’s Mark O Brazier, EDFP, Senior Vice President and Director of Lending, will join Voices that Impact to share insights from his work in community development finance, economic development, and contractor lending.

The conversation will look at what businesses need to make the most of financing, from strong financial management and technical assistance to the right partnerships and ongoing support. Mark will also discuss the role CDFIs play in helping entrepreneurs prepare for new opportunities and build stronger, more sustainable businesses.

Because the impact of capital is not only measured by the number of loans made. It can also be seen in the businesses that grow, the jobs they create, and the opportunities they bring to their communities.

Community Capital New York is proud to participate in Banking & Finance: The State of Black Business in New York on Thursday, August 13.

Our Senior Business Loan Officer, J R Dorsainvil, will join leaders from the financial, public, and business sectors for a conversation about the challenges and opportunities facing Black-owned businesses in New York, as well as the financial resources and support available to help entrepreneurs grow.

These conversations are an important part of strengthening connections between small business owners, financial institutions, community organizations, and the resources available to support business growth.
