Looking at the video of Josh Palmer kicking off our campaign, thinking of the past several months after that, and reading all of the posts after last night, I just keep coming back to gratitude. I’m grateful for all of my family, for my wife’s support and all of her work on this campaign, for the upbringing I received from my parents, for our kids sharing their Dad for the past several months, and for the support and encouragement of so many that I both knew before and came to know throughout this process! We certainly could not have done this alone or even with a few, so there are too many people to thank here…I look forward to continuing to say thank you face to face…but for now, thank you to everyone!!
Going forward, I will continue to try to do my part to ensure the community we live in is a great place to live and work, and that everyone affected by Elmira City Court continues to be heard and treated with fairness and respect, and that our laws will be respected as well. I will not take that trust lightly!
Finally, I wanted to thank and acknowledge both Jordan Yorke and Bob Siglin. It is a long and often difficult process. Jordan and I had a good conversation at the beginning of this campaign and was happy to do so again today at the end! I wish continued success to both he and Bob!
