Nothing beats good food and great company! 🍔🌭💙

Today, Beecher Elementary welcomed families for Grilling with Grownups, a special Father's Day celebration organized by 3rd grade teachers, Mrs. Sanchez and Mrs. Wheeler.

From the moment they arrived, guests were warmly greeted and escorted in by Beecher's outstanding Student Council members, helping make everyone feel right at home. It was a wonderful opportunity for students and their grownups to share a meal, make memories, and celebrate the important people in their lives.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this event such a success and to all the families who joined us for this special event!

🏃🏾‍♀️Congratulations to our Elmira Express student-athletes who represented our district at the NYSPHSAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships last weekend at Webster Schroeder High School!

🌟 Serenity Rollins placed 15th in the 100-meter dash with a time of 12.68.
🌟 Selena Rollins finished 20th in the 200-meter dash, crossing the line in 26.66.
🌟 Our 4x100 relay team of Anais Dailey, Arrianna Jones, Selena Rollins, and Serenity Rollins earned a 16th-place finish with a time of 50.17.
🌟 Leilani and John Charles competed Sunday! Leilani finished 25th with a PR of 32' 7.5" triple jump!

Competing at the state championships is an incredible accomplishment, and we are so proud of these athletes for representing Elmira with determination, talent, and sportsmanship.

Tonight, the top academic achievers from the 21 GST BOCES component school districts were recognized as Southern Tier Scholars, celebrating their hard work, dedication, and commitment to academic excellence.

A special congratulations to Elmira High School’s Valedictorian, Brody Hamilton, and Salutatorian, Molly Moshier, for representing the district with pride.

We congratulate all of this year's Southern Tier Scholars and wish each of you continued success as you embark on your next chapter. Your dedication and achievements have made your schools, families, and community proud!
