Proud to see many of our Chargers representing D205 today at the Elmhurst Memorial Day Parade! 🇺🇸🎶 The combined D205 middle school bands did an amazing job being part of such a special community event combining traditional Memorial Day reverence with celebrating America’s 250th anniversary. From the music and historical tributes to the debut of the new Elmhurst250 Bell, today was a meaningful day filled with pride, remembrance, and community spirit. Great job to all of our D205 student musicians for representing our schools so well!

We would like to take a moment to thank Mr. Jarotkiewicz, who graciously visited our 7th Grade PLTW Flight and Space classes last week. Leveraging his vast experience as an Air Force member and his current experience as a pilot for Southwest, Mr. Jarotkiewicz was able to provide our students with invaluable insights into the practical application of what they are learning and potential career pathways.

Today was our second week of 1v1 lunch games as part of our PBIS Winter Olympics! Students competed in tabletop curling and we brought back the air hockey tables due to popular demand. Next week students will compete in a game inspired by ski jumping. Currently 6th grade is in the lead with over 2,000 tickets turned in but remember that every ticket, every game, and every positive choice counts toward the Winter Olympics championship for each grade!
