Thank you to everyone who came to our Pancake Breakfast and Mother's Day Plant sale last Saturday. The extra hanging baskets are for sale for $25 at the Elmhurst Y, 211 W First Street during the hours of 5am to 9pm Monday - Friday, Saturday 6am to 6pm and Sunday 8am to 5pm. Hurry in for the best selection!

This is a great idea - this would be great at all parks

Little Free Libraries are bigger on the inside! The Aktion Club of SEASPAR in Illinois, U.S., painted a Little Free Library crafted by Eric Alwin, president of the Kiwanis Club of Woodridge, to look like the TARDIS from sci-fi series “Doctor Who.” The library was installed in the Lisle Park District. https://bit.ly/3RiwVjx

We are always looking for new members and any former Kiwanians from Elmhurst or other Kiwanis Clubs to come join us at a meeting. We have a new meeting schedule as follows -
First Tuesday of the month - 6:30am at Fresh Start Cafe, 1038 S York Rd, Elmhurst.
Second Tuesday of the month - noon at Elmhurst American Legion, Normandy Room, 310 W Butterfield Rd for our Board Meeting.
Third Tuesday of the month - noon at Elmhurst American Legion, Normandy Room, 310 W. Butterfield Rd.
The Fourth Tuesday of the month will be Committee meetings and no regular meeting.

Pictures from yesterday's Trick or Treat at Safety Town. A great time was had by all and the children really loved the characters being there. The characters are from Costumers with a Cause. They will also be at our Pancake Breakfast on May 10 at Elmhurst American Legion.

Kiwanis Illinois-Eastern Iowa Division 9 Peanut Day was this weekend and Kiwanis Club of Elmhurst was out in the community!!! Thanks to everyone who donated money that will go directly towards and helping the children of Elmhurst, surrounding communities and the world.Check out our very own Tim McKernan out at the Jewel Osco in downtown Elmhurst!

Kiwanis Club of Elmhurst installed their 93rd round of club officers tonight! Congratulations to the new board members and the incoming officers Derek Schlager - President, Heather Bereckis - Vice President. Re-elected to the board as Treasurer is Andrea Pokrefke and Patty McKernan was elected by Mr President Schlager to be this years Secretary. Andrea Pokrefke installed our board as the Division 9 Lt Governor Elect. Looking forward to a great 2025 Kiwanis year!
