Summertime at Conrad Fischer is for reflection. As principal, I value taking this time to reflect on our wins and plan how we can grow even stronger for the next school year.

These are the exact same reflective principles we teach our students.

Today I had the opportunity to spend some time chatting with our amazing and beloved Crossing Guard, Mr. Igara. While we talked, I witnessed something beautiful: neighbors, parents, and students alike stopping to greet him, smile at him, and even embrace him. Some were from Fischer, others simply from the neighborhood. That is the kind of impact Mr. Igara has on people.

Year after year, Mr. Igara goes far beyond his duty in serving the students and families of Conrad Fischer School. His care, consistency, kindness, and labor of love remind us that extraordinary schools are built by extraordinary human beings.

Thank you, Mr. Igara, for another wonderful year keeping our children safe and cared for each morning and afternoon. We wish you a beautiful summer and look forward to seeing you again in August.

And for the final Spring Sing concert of the year, our 1st graders did a spectacular job! Their joy and beautiful performances filled the room with smiles.

A huge thank you to Mr. Nemec for the numerous concerts this year and for giving our students unforgettable opportunities to shine in front of their families and community. When we do good things, good things happen!

Congratulations to our 5th graders on your promotion to 6th grade! We are so proud of all you have accomplished and excited for all that lies ahead.

Thank you to our dedicated 5th grade team, the many teachers and staff members who supported our students throughout the year, our amazing PTA, and our wonderful parents and families for helping make this celebration such a meaningful success.

Our Kindergartners melted hearts during their beautiful Spring Sing performance for families! Their smiles, joy, and confidence lit up the room and reminded us how special these moments truly are.

A huge thank you to Mrs. Lashmet, Mrs. Gomez, Mrs. Villegas, and Mrs. Guerrero for guiding and supporting our students all year long, and to Mr. Nemec for helping our students perform so beautifully for parents and families. When we do good things, good things happen!

Our REACH students proudly presented their Changemaker projects to families and fellow students, showcasing creativity, leadership, and a desire to make the world better. What a beautiful celebration of music, community, and joy at our 2nd–5th Grade Spring Sing Concerts held in the beautiful auditorium at Churchville Middle School!

Our students enchanted their families and guests with their voices, energy, and confidence under the exceptional direction of Mr. Nemec, our music teacher extraordinaire, whose dedication and passion continue to inspire our students year after year. A special thank you as well to the amazing Fischer Singers for sharing their talents and performing during both concerts.

We are also deeply grateful to our Fischer alumni now attending York High School for returning to support and help make these evenings so special.

Finally, thank you to all of our families for your support throughout the entire school year. Your encouragement, and partnership make experiences like these possible for our children.
