- SENIOR SERVICES & FOOD PANTRY
Our Senior Nutrition Department has prepared and served well over 370,000 meals in the last 10 years. 106,000 pounds of food was purchased in 2024 for the food pantry using donated funds raised as a result of the Township Team.

- GENERAL ASSISTANCE & MENTAL HEALTH
Provided qualified residents in need with Emergency Assistance for food, rent, utilities and medications. Expanded mental health resources offered by the township.

- ROAD REPAIR & PUBLIC SAFETY
The only DuPage Township that offers free year-round electronic recycling to our residents while maintaining 68 miles of road. We also contract with the Sheriff’s office for extra police patrols.

- TRANSPARENCY & TECHNOLOGY
Newly revamped website design with an expanded online transparency page and contact forms.

- FIGHTING FOR PROPERTY TAX RELIEF
The entire York Team will fight for expanding Homeowner, Veterans and Senior Citizen property tax exemptions to help bring property tax relief to York Township residents.
..All while maintaining a BALANCED BUDGET and being less than 2% of your property tax bill.

Under the leadership of Supervisor John Valle, York Township has expanded its services to support not just residents, but their beloved pets as well. Our food pantry now offers pet food year-round, ensuring no family member—two-legged or four-legged—goes hungry. Through a partnership with Rescue Pack, we’ve also hosted multiple drive-through pet food pantry events to help local pet owners in need. Additionally, we’ve teamed up with local law enforcement to bring joy to seniors, visiting them alongside friendly, furry companions to brighten their day.
