Please be advised that Elmendorf City Hall will be closed on Monday, September 7, 2026, in observance of Labor Day as we honor American workers.

We will reopen and resume regular business hours on Tuesday, September 8, 2026.

🎄✨ A NEW TWIST ON AN ELMENDORF CHRISTMAS TRADITION! ✨🎄

Christmas in the Park is returning Saturday, December 5 — but this year, we’re changing things up! ❤️💚

For the first time, our traditional Christmas celebration will move into the evening, giving our community the chance to enjoy the parade, holiday activities and the park as the Christmas lights begin to shine. And we’re adding something extra special… our Christmas Tree Lighting! 🎄✨

🎅 Parade kicks off at 4:00 PM
🎄 Christmas Tree Lighting at 6:00 PM
🎡 Free activities, treats & entertainment
✨ Festivities continue until 8:00 PM

🐾 CORRECTION – FOUND DOG LOCATION 🐾

We need to make an important correction regarding the location where this sweet boy was found.

He was not found in the Ranchview Estates Subdivision, as previously posted. He was actually found on Black Willow Way in the Hickory Ridge Subdivision.

This portion of Hickory Ridge is still fairly vacant with very few homes built nearby, so we believe he may have traveled into the subdivision from the CR 163 or Old Corpus Christi Road area. He may also have been following a female dog that was seen running through the area.

We are desperately hoping to find his owner. ❤️ He is a very sweet, well-behaved dog who appears to have been well cared for. He was found wearing a red harness and has been such a good boy while in our care.

Please take another look at his photo and share this post, especially with anyone who lives along CR 163, Old Corpus Christi Road, Hickory Ridge, or the surrounding area. Someone has to be missing this handsome boy!

At this time, the dog is considered a stray and does not have an owner.
