Blossom Vol. Fire Company Founded in 1872, the Blossom Volunteer Fire Company provides Fire, Rescue, and Emergency Medical Services to the Town of Elma.

We are proudly 100% Volunteer and staffed by members who serve their community professionally.

Limited Bottled Water Distribution Announced for Town of Elma Residents Impacted by Water Main Break

The Town of Elma will be conducting a limited bottled water distribution this evening for Town of Elma residents impacted by today’s major water main break.
Distribution will take place from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the following locations:

📍Elma Volunteer Fire Company
3007 Bowen Road, Elma, NY

📍 Jamison Road Volunteer Fire Company
1071 Jamison Road, Elma, NY

This distribution is limited and intended for Town of Elma residents only affected by the current water service disruption. Residents are asked to bring a photo ID or proof of Town of Elma residency in order to receive bottled water. Supplies are available while quantities last.

🚧 Ongoing Repairs
Town of Elma Water Department crews remain actively engaged in locating and repairing the water main break. Residents who still have water service are asked to limit water usage to essential needs only to help stabilize the system during repair operations.

Residents are encouraged to monitor the Town of Elma website and the Elma Emergency Manager page for the latest updates on restoration efforts and additional support measures.

Town of Elma Responding to Major Water Main Break – Town-Wide Water Service Disruption

The Town of Elma is currently responding to a major water main break that has resulted in a loss of water service throughout the town.

Town of Elma Water Department crews are actively on scene and working to locate, isolate, and repair the break as quickly and safely as possible. Additional support resources are being coordinated as needed to assist with restoration efforts.

Residents who still have water service at this time are asked to limit water usage to essential needs only in order to help stabilize the system while repairs are underway.
At this time, residents should expect continued service interruption until repairs are completed. We do not anticipate water service to be restored prior to tomorrow. Updates will be provided as more information becomes available and as timelines for restoration become clearer.

A press conference will be held today at 4:00 PM at:
Elma Town Hall

Elma, NY 14059

Town officials will provide operational updates, expected restoration timelines, and guidance for residents.

After years of extensive research and design planning, we are finally able to introduce the first of its kind, Cyber Pumper! Equipped with a 750GPM pump and a 200 gallon tank, this truck is designed for quick responses in our first due district. Delivery date is scheduled for April 1st, 2040!
