About Those Code Notices…
Nobody gets excited to find a notice on their door. We understand that.
In many cases, these notices are simply a friendly reminder about a local city or village ordinance. They may involve things like tall grass or weeds, snow removal, parking concerns, or other property-related issues.
The goal is not to make anyone’s day harder. The goal is to help keep our communities clean, safe, and running smoothly.
Each city and village in Buffalo County has its own ordinances, so rules can vary depending on where you live. Our Community Service Officers assist with some ordinance-related concerns, while others may need to be handled directly through your local city or village office.
Most issues are resolved with a simple reminder and cooperation. When concerns continue after warnings, further action may be handled through the appropriate process.
