It is with great sorrow we announce the passing of active Life Member Troy Follett. Troy has been a mainstay of our organization since he joined. Serving our organization as President and Lieutenant. Troy was a role model and mentor to many of us through the years. A man with a huge heart, an even bigger smile and an unfettered desire to help others. Please say some words for Troy, his family and our organization as we navigate through his passing. Rest easy Troy, find peace and forgive us the tears we shed in remembrance to the fantastic memories you have given us all.

Just a heads-up that starting tomorrow, the Paul Miller Law goes into effect, banning the use of hand-held phones while driving. If you’re caught with a phone in your hand, you could face a $50 fine plus additional costs. The goal is to keep all drivers safe by reducing distractions on the road. Drive safely and remember: “Arrive Alive.”

On 3/7/2026 your volunteers gathered with North Sewickley VFD to have a night of celebration and fellowship. We are proud to celebrate our members who have gone above and beyond in 2025.

In 2025 Franklin Township Vol Fire Dept responded to 298 calls for service. This was a banner year for the organization. The most calls ever ran in a year.

In 2025 the organization began a QRS (quick response service) to provide assistance for critical medical calls in the township.
