Fombell Area Historical Society

Fombell Area Historical Society The Fombell Area Historical Society meets at 1 p.m. the third Sunday of the month (March - Nov) at the Franklin Township Municipal Bldg. Drop in!

The Fombell Area Historical Society was officially formed in March 2010 but began its roots over ten years prior with Duane Stuck and his cousin, Ed Boots, and others. As the years went by and we continued to grow, becoming more than just a few. It was decided to start a historical society and today we are an official Non-Profit organization. The annual Fombell History Day has been a great success

with usually well over 100 in attendance. Many items and photos are put on displays that are provided by Historical Society members and others from the community. Our research and interest is not only in Fombell but the surrounding areas such as Franklin and Marion Townships, Beaver County part of Perry Township as well as Lawrence County Pennsylvania. We welcome any to join who have an interest in joining our society and helping preserve our local history and heritage.
