🌲 A Wonderful Week at Camp CaPella! ☀️

Downeast Horizons spent last week at Camp CaPella! Everyone enjoyed spending time outdoors, swimming, taking boat rides, playing games, participating in recreational activities, enjoying a BBQ, socializing, and spending time together.

It was a great week filled with fresh air, friendship, laughter, and plenty of opportunities to have fun and make wonderful memories! 💚

Downeast Horizons welcomed Mr. Drew and His Animals Too to our Brewer Center today! 🐍🦎🐢

Program participants and staff had a great time getting an up-close look at a variety of exotic animals while learning more about them and the natural world. It was a fun, hands-on experience filled with plenty of smiles, curiosity, and excitement!

🚂 All aboard!

Yesterday, Downeast Horizons enjoyed a wonderful ride aboard the Downeast Scenic Railroad!

The scenic journey traveled from Washington Junction along the historic Calais Branch Line to Ellsworth Falls and back. Participants had the opportunity to enjoy the sights, spend time together, and experience a unique piece of Maine railroad history.

It was a fun and memorable outing filled with smiles and great memories!
