It's nice to post something other than a road closure due to a tragic accident or nasty weather event. In the afternoon of Friday the 4th, one of our staff members took a call reporting a patient choking on food. Dispatcher Rolly Means processed the call, and provided instructions to the caller through our Emergency Medical Dispatch protocols while the rest of the staff got all "the people" started that way to assist. A short while later one of the responding Northern Light paramedics called in to advise Rolly's work with this call saved the patient's life.
Excellent job Rolly!
