The final proposed Fiscal Year 2027 Budget for the City of Ellsworth is now available online.

Residents are welcome to review the budget before the Ellsworth City Council considers adoption on Monday, June 15, 2026.

The budget reflects the services, programs, capital investments, and financial planning that support our community and help move Ellsworth forward.

Find out at ELLSWORTH AS MUSE, a special exhibition at Courthouse Gallery Fine Art celebrating the people, places, history, and character of our community. Created in honor of the gallery's 20th year in Ellsworth, the exhibit invites artists to share fresh perspectives on the city we call home.

Exhibition: May 15 – July 12, 2026
Artist Reception: June 24, 2026 from 5 – 7 PM

🗳️ Today is Election Day in Ellsworth!

Polling locations are open until 8:00 PM for the Municipal School Budget Validation and Special Referendum Election.

As you head to the polls, we'd also like to recognize the incredible election workers and City staff who help make Election Day run smoothly. From early-morning setup to late-night ballot counting, their dedication helps ensure every vote can be cast and counted.

Thank you to everyone serving our community today and thank you to everyone who takes the time to participate in local government. Democracy is a team sport.
